Scottish Widows Credit Card Being Withdrawn

Scottish Widows, the major finance group based in Edinburgh, have announced that they are withdrawing their successful credit card range.
Scottish Widows credit card holders have received notice that the brand is being withdrawn and they are to receive a replacement form the Lloyds TSB credit card range. If any existing Scottish Widows credit card holders do not wish to change over to the Lloyds TSB brand they are to contact Scottish Widows with four weeks. Lloyds TSB will honour all existing credit limits
The Scottish Widows credit card is the latest card to be withdrawn by Lloyds TSB. In the last year Accucard and CreateCard have also been removed and all enquiries sent to Lloyds TSB.
Lloyds TSB has a number of on offer with the Lloyds Platinum credit card being the most popular. The Platinum card offers 0 per cent on all balance transfers for the first nine months of the account opening. Balance transfers must be made in the first 6 weeks of the account opening. Please note there is a 2% balance transfer fee with no maximum fee fixed. The Lloyds TSB Platinum credit card charges an APR of 14.9 per cent.
