New Credit Card From Sainsbury’s Bank

Sainsbury’s Bank has announced today a new credit card that will offer 0 per cent on all purchases for twelve months. This new credit card will only be available until May 31st 2006.

As well as the longest 0 per cent purchase deal available in the UK, Sainsbury’s Bank also offers consumers a low lifetime balance transfer rate of just 5.9 per cent. This new credit card is only available by collecting a leaflet from their nearest Sainbury’s supermarket store. This 12 month 0% purchase credit card is not available online.

Donald MacLeod from Sainsbury’s, said,  “We are keen to reward the Sainsbury’s shopper with one of the most attractive cards in the marketplace. We remain committed to offering some of the most competitive available. Many providers have cut back on their interest free offers but our special offer card provides 12 months at 0%, the longest in the market.”

As an added bonus, consumers using a Sainsbury’s Bank credit card Nectar points every time they make a purchase as well as a voucher book providing discounts at Sainsbury’s stores.

After the introductory 0 per cent purchase deal ends the Sainsbury’s credit card reverts to an APR of 15.9%.
