October 2, 2006

Marbles improves credit card offerMarbles is the latest credit card provider to join the12 month 0% balance transfer club.

In the last year, Marbles has been continually trying to play catch up with other credit cards.

Originally coming with an offer of 0% on balance transfers and purchases for the first 6 months, this offer changed earlier this year to 9 months on 0% balance transfers and the 0% on purchases deal was dropped. At the time the standard APR was increased from 11.9% to 14.9%.

On October 3rd Marbles will again increase their 0% balance offer, this time to 12 months, which keeps it in line with other offerings from Virgin, Sony, GE Money and HSBC.

The balance transfer fee remains the same at 2% with no maximum, however, the standard APR goes up to 15.9%.

Other benefits include a 8% discount on holidays booked through Thomas Cook, a 5% discount on holiday car rental through Holiday Autos and 10% airport parking by using BCP.
